Do it Best announces Director of International Sales

Fort Wayne, IN – Do it Best Corp. has named a new Director of International Sales with its promotion of seasoned veteran Christian Parra, effective immediately.

“Do it Best is committed to be the industry’s first and best choice for independent home improvement retailers, not just in the US but around the world,” said Nick Talarico, Do it Best vice president of Sales & Business Development. “And I’m excited to have Christian step into this important leadership role. His experience in international business, his personal passion for our international members and affiliates, his determination, and his strategic thinking will all help him drive sales growth for our international members.” 

Parra, who most recently served as the company’s International New Business Manager, has over nineteen years of driving international sales throughout the world. After completing his MBA from Indiana University, he joined Do it Best Corp. in 2002 as an International Project Manager. This was followed by exceptional performance and promotions leading different aspects of the company’s international business. Throughout his career, he has helped many independent business owners build for growth.

In his new role, Parra will lead a team of international sales professionals serving hardware retailers in more than 50 countries to enhance their presence and expand their market share. “I’m eager for the opportunity to apply my international expertise to serve our international affiliates and team,” said Parra. “Our deep understanding of international business and our industry-leading distribution network, international merchandising skills, and strategic vendor relationships provide a winning formula for growing sales throughout the world.”
