Do it Best Group Receives Event of the Year Honor at IMPRESS Awards

Do it Best Group has been recognized with the Event of the Year award at the IMPRESS Awards, presented by the Meeting Professionals International (MPI) Indiana Chapter.

The award was presented April 23 at the FORUM Event Center in Fishers, Indiana, where meeting and event professionals from across the state gathered to celebrate excellence, innovation, and leadership in the industry.

Do it Best Group earned the honor for its 1980s-themed 80th Anniversary Celebration, held at Gainbridge Fieldhouse during the company’s 2025 Fall Market in Indianapolis. The event brought together attendees for an unforgettable evening that celebrated the company’s legacy, culture, and milestone anniversary.

“This recognition is especially meaningful because it reflects a true team effort,” said Vince Slack, Meeting & Market Planning Manager for Do it Best Group. “Our 80th Anniversary Celebration was made possible by an incredible group of people who brought creativity, energy, and precision to every detail. I’m proud of our team at Do it Best, grateful for our partnership with Accent Indy, and thankful for the leadership and support that helped make the evening such a success.”

The IMPRESS Awards — Indiana Meeting Professionals Recognizing Excellence and Statewide Success — honor outstanding individuals and companies whose work continues to elevate meetings and events across Indiana. The Event of the Year award recognizes excellence in creating a memorable and impactful event experience.

“This award is a wonderful reflection of the collaboration, vision, and dedication that went into creating a celebration worthy of Do it Best Group’s 80-year milestone,” said company CEO Dan Starr. “It was a night to remember, and we’re already looking forward to celebrating our 85th in true Do it Best fashion.”
