Do it Best calls on Tony Miner as Director of Strategic Initiatives

Do it Best is pleased to announce the appointment of Tony Miner to director of strategic initiatives, effective immediately. His focus will be the continued development of the company’s sales operations, data analytics, and member growth programs. These include projects and partnerships with both existing and prospective members. In this role, Miner will grow members’ sales for the company through strategic planning and execution.

Miner brings more than 30 years of experience to his new role, spanning frontline retail operations and setting sales strategies for national paint lines. He joined Do it Best in 2018 as a paint development manager, an advisory and sales leadership role, assisting members in developing their paint departments to increase sales and profit performance. The following year, Miner moved into a territory sales manager role, where he consulted with store owners on how to profitably grow their businesses by expanding into new locations and making strategic acquisitions. Promoted to regional manager in 2023, Miner oversaw sales territories covering the Midwest and Upper Midwest. He developed strategically competitive sales teams that understand how to mitigate attrition and maximize sales growth through data, competitor positioning, and customer relationship building.
